Cardio is a method of exercise that helps burn calories quickly, effectively reducing weight and reducing belly fat. Cardio stands for Cardiovascular - ie exercise that increases the heart rate, helps increase metabolism and increases the ability to burn fat even when you have stopped exercising. Cardio is a method of using exercises to increase and control your heart rate to a preset level, increasing blood circulation throughout the body.

Cardio is very flexible and in fact Cardio is just a training principle, not a specific exercise at all. There are countless exercises and movements that can be used to create Cardio exercises.
